Back To The Future The Ultimate Visual History, Revised and Expanded Edition: My quick review
Great Scott this one is heavy!
This definitely is the ultimate visual history of Back to the Future. They really spent a lot of time and effort in putting this book together and it really shows. There is a forward by Michael J. Fox and a preface by Christopher Lloyd that I really enjoyed reading. The introduction by Bob Gale and the afterword by Robert Zemeckis were good and you could tell how important Back to the Future is to these guys and how they treasure this trilogy and remain protective of it.
I really love this one and its not just because Back to the Future is my favorite movie of all time. I love this book because of how detailed it is covering the entire history of the trilogy, all the way from pre production early ideas and planning stages for making the first movie trough the trilogy and beyond even to the present and its legacy. Every page is filled with beautiful pictures and the book is full of gems, I mean full of them, and its just a joy to go from page to page.
I must say my favorite thing about this book are the included, what I call, souvenirs (not sure what to actually call them) attached inside to some of the pages. These are so cool. I actually had no idea that the book was going to come with these. So for me it was a really pleasant surprise and made the book that much more worth it. Thank you for reading my blog about this pretty sweet book. Also check out my quick look YouTube video about it. See you in the future, or the past.
