The Luke Skywalker Battle Simulation Helmet

Sometimes dreams do come true.  Ever since I saw Luke in the Empire Strikes Back in his flight suit and wearing his helmet I thought he looked so cool, and that helmet, I wanted that helmet.  Well after all this time I finally have it, and boy is it everything I thought it would be.  This item has been out for sometime now, but I finally got my hands on it and I wanted to share my joy and talk briefly about it. 

First let me quickly go over some details and the helmet features.  Its made by Hasbro and is part of the Star Wars The Black Series.  I believe this item was first released in 2019.  When it was originally release, Hasbro had it listed at $99.99.  As I write this the Hasbro website has it "sold out" at different online stores and Amazon has it at $194.81 from one seller and $215.95 from another. 

The helmet needs three double A batteries. It has three internal speakers for surround sound experience and LED lights. The synchronized LED lights and the three speakers create an immersive battle simulation experience.  It even features enemy blaster fire sounds as well as communication from R2-D2. Hasbro did a great job with this and I really enjoyed the sounds and the battle simulation. There are two battle simulations to experience; Battle of Yavin and Battle of Hoth. I really enjoyed both experiences. 

Other than putting in the batteries (which don't come with the helmet) the only other "assembly" was to put in the inside cushions which there was three and easy to place with Velcro to hold them in.  The helmet is overall comfortable and not heavy.  

In summary Luke's battle helmet is everything I thought it was going to be and definitely worth getting.  I think its very cool and very awesome and now I wear it all the time and everywhere I go haha.
